Canning jars with homespun fabric lid covers embellished with rusty jingle bells are a great primitive accent in your country kitchen. Family and friends will love them filled with homemade goodies.
You will need---
- Small mouth canning jar with lid and ring
- Homespun fabric scraps
- Cotton string or hemp twine
- Small Rusty Jingle Bells up to 1"
- Cut fabric into an 8" circle. If you want to hem the cover, add 1/2".
- Center the circle on top of the canning jar.
- Thread one or more rusty jingle bells onto the roll of string or twine.
- Wrap the bottom of the jar lid a few times, positioning the jingle bells as you desire.
- Tie the ends of the string or twine into a bow or knot.
