You will need---
- Quart or pint canning jar
- Rusty Star Garland
- Rusty Jar Lid with Star Cutout or Plain Rusty Jar Lid
- Rosehips, Putkas, Cinnamon Sticks
- Scented oil (optional)
- Wire cutters
- Pliers
- Wash and dry your canning jar.
- Using pliers, form a hook on the wire about 1/2" from the end of the rusty star garland.
- Hold the hook at the bottom of the jar mouth on the back side.
- Wrap and loop the rusty star garland around the jar three or four times until you are happy with the look. Each time you reach the back, catch the wire in the hook.
- Cut the garland wire about 1/2" past the point where it touches the hook.
- Form a second hook in this end, making sure that it joins with the first hook. Twist the ends of the hooks into loops if you wish.
- Mix rosehips, putkas and cinnamon sticks and pour into the jar. To scent your fixin's first, see Scenting Potpourri, Fixin's and Bowl Fillers. You will need two of our mug measures for a quart jar and one for a pint jar.
- Top off the jar with a rusty jar lid with a star cutout or a plain rusty jar lid.
